Join us for the 2025 Spring Meeting of the New Mexico Science Teachers Association (NMSTA), a dynamic professional learning and networking event designed for science educators across the state. Held at Yucca Middle School in Clovis, this half-day conference will feature engaging breakout sessions led by practicing educators, timely topics ranging from classroom engagement strategies to the integration of artificial intelligence in education, and practical tools for managing emotional regulation in the classroom.

The morning will begin with a warm welcome over breakfast, followed by a choice of interactive sessions focused on improving instruction, assessment, and student engagement in today’s evolving classrooms. Attendees will also participate in the NMSTA Membership Meeting and enjoy a delicious lunch catered by YMS FCCLA students.

Highlights include:

  • Teaching Strategies for Post-COVID Classrooms
  • "Shed the Dead": A Strategy for Tackling Test Questions
  • Harnessing AI in the Classroom
  • Supporting Emotional Regulation in Teen Learners

Whether you're a veteran teacher or early in your career, this event is an opportunity to connect with peers, gather fresh ideas, and strengthen your professional toolkit. We’ll wrap up the day with a brief conference closeout and an NMSTA Board Meeting.

We look forward to seeing you there!
