NMSTA Guiding Principles
We share the visions and goals of our parent association, NSTA, which are to

- Champion science
- Pursue learning
What we do
- Maintain a website with information, a blog, and resources; a calendar; and conference information.
- Host an annual conference. It is held in the fall and its location moves throughout the state.
- Distribute communications that highlight topics, resources and opportunities for jobs and professional development.
- Provide other professional development workshops throughout the year. Each regional representative can request funding to defray the cost of workshops for teachers and students.
- Recruit donors and sponsors to subsidize the costs associated with conferences, professional development, and competitions.
