NMSTA FALL CONFERENCE 2026 Venue

Berna Facio Professional Development Center | Albuquerque, New Mexico

The New Mexico Science Teachers Association (NMSTA) is excited to welcome educators, STEM professionals, community partners, exhibitors, and guests from across New Mexico and beyond to the Berna Facio Professional Development Center in Albuquerque for the NMSTA Fall Conference 2026 on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Located at 3315 Louisiana Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, the Berna Facio Professional Development Center provides an ideal setting for a day centered on learning, collaboration, and connection. Designed with professional learning in mind, the facility offers technology-equipped breakout rooms, flexible meeting and presentation spaces, an inviting indoor commons area, and an outdoor courtyard that will allow conference participants to engage in a variety of sessions and activities throughout the day.

The venue's central Albuquerque location also provides convenient access to I-40 and I-25, nearby hotels and restaurants, and complimentary on-site parking—making it accessible for participants traveling from communities throughout New Mexico and the surrounding region.

A Space for Learning, Connection & Community

Our 2026 conference theme, “Bridging Cultures & Communities with STEM Learning,” calls for a venue where educators and partners can come together to exchange ideas, build relationships, share innovative practices, and strengthen STEM learning across our state.

The Berna Facio Professional Development Center provides exactly that environment; a welcoming space where New Mexico's educators, scientists, STEM organizations, community partners, and education leaders can learn from one another and build new connections.
